We recently had a chance to review it, and it has surprised many of us. So, here I am with an in-depth review and see if the Infinix Hot 50 price in Pakistan is justified or not.

The price of  Infinix Hot 50 is Rs. 39,999. You can buy it at a lower price on OLX. As you know the price, let’s start exploring the mobile to help you understand what it offers.

Design

Infinix is working seriously on design. The Infinix Hot 50 has been designed with square-shaped cameras aligned in a straight line, while most of the other manufacturers use round-shaped cameras. Not only has its back got a fresh look, but this phone is slimmer and lighter than its predecessor, the Infinix Hot 40. All these things make it look fascinating in the hand.

Infinix has really upgraded this phone to attract a lot of gamers. You will find an IPS LCD, but it has a 120 Hz refresh rate, which is no less than a bliss in this price range. Moreover, you will also get an always-on display functionality, which is again something you will not see often in the phones of this category.

Although the company has brought many enhancements, the rear camera department remains the same. 50 MP main camera is accompanied by unspecified cameras. Heads up! The real story is in its front camera. The company has compromised here and reduced the 32MP selfie camera of the previous model to 8 MP in this one. So, this phone is more focused towards design, speed, and performance.

As discussed earlier, the Infinix Hot 50 is made to please budget gamers. The chipset has been upgraded to Helio G100 compared to the Helio G88 in its predecessor. As a result, its Antutu scores are 62% more than the Infinix Hot 40. So, I must say, it is a remarkable upgrade. And it does perform well in reality as tested.

Battery & Charging

Another compromise you will see is in the charging of the Infinix Hot 50. The company has downgraded its charging speed to 18W from 33W of its predecessor. However, bypass charging is supported now which is again an indication of the company’s intentions to make it a gaming phone.

Final Verdict

Infinix Hot 50 is definitely one of the best mobiles under 40,000 rupees in Pakistan. Especially if you want to buy a new phone that is capable of providing decent gaming performance. Its stylish and slimmer look makes it feel quite fascinating in the hand. However, you will have to compromise a little on the selfie camera, charging, and use an IPS LCD display instead of an AMOLED screen.
