Premium is what we can say about the design of Infinix Note 12 VIP. Its rear side has pretty impressive frosted glass. Its black camera module is large and wide with “VIP” mentioned on it. Display is the section in which Infinix has put in a lot of effort and it shows in Note 12 VIP design. Its display is comparable with the display of Infinix Zero X Pro, which has almost the same display quality but a bit smaller size. Note 12 doesn’t only come with an AMOLED panel but it has 120Hz refresh rate as well. It means both the quality and speed of its display are impressive.

Infinix Note 12 VIP: Camera
In layman’s terms, cameras in this series are VIP. Here is a quick Infinix Note 12 VIP review of cameras.
This device has three camera setup on its back. Primary sensor is a 108 MP shooter with 1/1.67 inch sensor. This sensor is a bit smaller as compared to the 108 MP camera with 1/1.52 inch sensor of Infinix Zero X Pro. The company hasn’t mentioned any image stabilization for Note 12 VIP. The other 2 sensors are 13 MP ultrawide and 2 MP depth sensor.
These are on paper specs only. In the camera department, Infinix devices suffer a bit in different conditions. However, there are some improvements in this device like better color reproduction, etc. But still, there is a long way to go when we compare this 108 MP camera with the 100+ MP cameras of other devices.
Selfie camera is better than the Infinix Note 12 G96 but lacks 4K video recording as available in the Infinix Zero X Pro.

Infinix Note 12 VIP: Performance
The performance of Infinix Note 12 VIP might disappoint some as it comes with the Mediatek Helio G96 Chipset. Some devices like the Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro (Snapdragon 860), Xiaomi Poco X3 GT (Dimensity 1100), and the OnePlus Nord CE 5G (Snapdragon 750G) in this range come with far better performance.
This device comes with Android 12 and XOS 10.6. So, you will only get a software upgrade instead of the actual performance.

Infinix Note 12 VIP: Features
Well, there are some strengths and weaknesses when we talk about features of Infinix Note 12 VIP. The highlighting feature is its 120W fast charging that isn’t only the best in this price range but also competes with the flagships of other brands. The device is fully charged in just 17 minutes (as advertised). This device also has dual speakers and NFC support.
The downside of this device is that it has only a 4500 mAh battery whereas other devices come with 5000 mAh batteries nowadays. Another disappointing thing here is the fingerprint sensor.
As this device has an AMOLED panel, an under display fingerprint sensor was expected. Many other devices with a way lower price than this device have an under display fingerprint sensor. So, it is a feature that many are going to miss.
