Good news for Honda car owners as the company is providing free parts replacement for specific car models and years. As per Honda Pakistan, safety of customers is their priority. So, they are replacing the airbag inflator and propeller motor for the fuel pump of different cars.
Free airbag inflator replacement
Honda is providing free replacement of airbag inflators for the following cars.
- Honda CIVIC: 2006 – 2012
- Honda CRV: 2008 – 2011
- Honda ACCORD: 2004 – 2012
It is among the major components of an airbag system. This device is present inside every airbag that makes the decision about inflating the airbag during a crash.
Free upgrade on propeller motor
Honda Pakistan is providing free replacement of the propeller motor of the fuel pump for the following cars.
- Honda Accord: 2018
- Honda BRV: 2018
- Honda Civic 1.8 I-VTEC Oriel: 2018 – 2019
Propellor motor helps flow the fuel from the tank and transfer it up the line towards the high-pressure pump.
This product upgrade or replacement (as said by the company) is limited for the models mentioned above. You can visit the nearest 3S and 2S dealership to avail this product replacement offer.
In civilised world it is called recall not an upgrade. This was honda fault to put them in the first instance but Pakistan being 3rd world country with uneducated people and govt honda is showing that they are doing an upgrade!!!
