The Ioniq 5 EV is a 5-seater vehicle which comes equipped with a powerful Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor and a Lithium-Ion battery with a capacity of 72.6 kWh. It outputs 253 kW, which translates to around 301.6 horsepower. The electric motor delivers 605 Nm of torque. It can travel up to 430 km on a single charge. The car uses a single-speed reduction column-type shift-by-wire transmission for smooth driving.
