BYD Launches Two Electric Cars in Pakistan - PAPS 2024

Great news for electric car lovers: BYD, famous for beating Tesla in sales during the third quarter of 2023, has launched two electric cars in Pakistan, BYD Atto 3 and BYD SEAL. The company revealed three electric cars after entering the Pakistani market in August this year but has launched only two at the Pakistan Auto Show 2024 at the moment. Let’s see their prices here:

BYD Atto 3 Price in Pakistan

Atto 3 is a C-segment crossover electric SUV. The company has introduced one variant in Pakistan, BYD Atto 3 Advance. This electric car is available for Rs. 8,900,000 (ex-factory price).

The Chinese Atto 3 comes with a 60.5 kWh Blade Battery, enabled with NEDC to deliver up to 480 km. It does come with an adaptive cruise control and 18-inch alloy wheels. Stay tuned for the official specs and features of this electric car.

BYD Seal Price in Pakistan

BYD Seal is a modern and futuristic D-Segment Electric Sedan. The company has introduced it in two variants, and their prices are as follows:

BYD Seal Dynamic: Rs. 14,790,000

BYD Seal Premium: Rs. 16,990,000

BYD Seal is a speedster, as it can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds. In addition, it is equipped with an 82.5 kWh battery that provides a claimed range of up to 570 km per charge (in China). What about charging? Well, that takes only 26 minutes using the 150 kW DC fast-charging power. The rotatable 15.6-inch multimedia touchscreen has voice control features that give the interior a modern touch.

In the end, both electric cars are amazing if we see their interior, exterior, and specs. The price of Atto 3 makes it a highly competitive electric sedan that may give tough competition to the Honda Civic, Hyundai Sonata, and even SUVs like the KIA Sportage, Hyundai Tucson, Changan Oshan X7, etc. The Seal, on the other hand, will be targeting customers having the intent to buy a car on the more premium side. Although the brand has a big name in China, we will have to wait and see how its new energy vehicles perform in the Pakistani market.
