The Redmi 15 has a curvy design (the company calls it Quad-curved design) which looks pretty decent but for people like me who love boxy shape, its curves might not be very pleasing. On the back side, there is a triple camera  module (actual cameras are two) with the third camera hole available just for cosmetic purposes. It feels slightly bulky due to the thick body. On the front side, the chin is larger than some other phones available at this price. Rest is pretty decent!

We still have the Snapdragon 685 chipset which is okay if efficiency is the concern but feels slightly under power compared to the Helio G100 available in most of its competitors. 8GB RAM, and UFS 2.2 storage type make things a little better in terms of overall performance and apps loading.

Talking about the display, it’s quite amazing. The Redmi 15 has an IPS screen with 144hz refresh rate. Although an AMOLED display is available at this price point in  many mobiles, 144hz refresh rate is what makes this device quite amazing. But if you think it will run your games at 144fps, well, that also depends on the chipset and this chipset cannot provide that much power to run heavy games on this high frame rate.

Coming to the camera department, it’s just like many other mobile phones offered at this price point. 50MP main camera coupled with auxiliary lens and an 8MP selfie camera. With the AI features embedded, we can assume that it will offer better overall results.

Here comes the highlight of this phone! It comes with a 7,000 mAh battery which makes this device quite interesting for people needing long battery backups. 33W fast charging support is there to quickly charge it but I would like a 45W charging support at least for this gigantic battery.

Conclusion

In the end, the Redmi 15 is quite a capable device that offers impressive battery backup, large display, and a safe body. However, if you need a mobile with impressive performance, it might not please you much. About the Redmi 15 price in Pakistan, it’s well placed at Rs. 45,999 making it quite a budget-friendly option for many people. Now, the decision is yours!
