In terms of design, the Reno 15 series looks quite premium. The Reno 15 is a bigger phone and may feel slightly large for some users, while the Reno 15 Pro feels easier to hold and more balanced. Both have some similarities with the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Talking about display, it’s good on both phones. AMOLED panels with 120Hz refresh rate make daily usage and gaming experience smoother. But I would prefer a 144hz screen at this price point. Watching videos and scrolling social media feels nice, especially if you’re upgrading from an older phone. And gaming, it’s going to get smoother as well.

Performance on the Reno 15 is good enough due to  5G snapdragon chipsets. It doesn’t struggle, but it’s also not meant for extreme gaming.

The Reno 15 Pro performs a bit better due to its stronger chipset. If you use heavy apps or do gaming more often, the Pro version makes more sense. Still, these phones are more about overall balance than raw power.

Camera performance is decent on both phones. The Reno 15 takes good photos in daylight and selfies are sharp as well.

The Reno 15 Pro clearly has an advantage because of its high-resolution main camera. Photos have more detail and zoom performance (up to 120x digital) is better. If the camera matters a lot to you, the Pro model is the better choice.

Battery life is one of the strong points here. The Reno 15 easily lasts a full day because of its large battery.

The Reno 15 Pro also gives good backup, and fast charging on both phones is quite useful. You don’t need to worry too much about charging time.

Conclusion

The Oppo Reno 15 series is a safe upgrade. It doesn’t bring anything shocking, but it improves things where it matters. The Reno 15 is good for most users, while the Reno 15 Pro is better for camera-focused users. 120x zoom makes them an interesting choice, the battery is also durable, performance is solid. So overall, a decent upgrade!

If you’re using an older Reno phone or a mid-range device, this series is worth considering.
