Starting from design, you will hardly notice any difference in it compared to the Pixel 9 Pro. The difference I noticed is that the sides don’t shine as much as its predecessor, but it was the first look, so even its shine is quite impressive. The camera module, corners, and overall design is pretty similar. Thickness is the same but the mobile is bulky now 207g vs 199g of its precursor.
Performance is the area where Google has made the Pixel 10 Pro stand out. It has the newer generation chipset, Google Tensor G5 (3 nm) which is more efficient and provides better performance for the gamers. The company claims that its TPU is up to 60% more powerful and the CPU is up to 25% faster. In the end, it’s good but not as impressive as the Snapdragon 8 Elite (Gen 4) or the Dimensity 9400 Plus if I compare the AnTuTu scores. 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage means you won’t run out of memory soon.
The Pixel 10 Pro has a brighter display than the Pixel 9 Pro. Otherwise, it’s the same LTPO OLED panel with 120hz refresh rate and HDR 10+ support. Even the Gorilla Glass variant is the same. The company could have introduced a 144hz panel as even some phones under 50000 have this fast screen. But overall, its quite an amazing display (why change when it’s not broken?)
If you loved the cameras of Pixel 9 Pro, you will love the Pixel 10 Pros’ too. Because the cameras are the same on both the front and back side. Primary camera is 50MP followed by a 48MP periscopic telephoto camera and a 48MP ultrawide camera. The front 42MP camera is also quite amazing as we all know about the camera quality of Pixel phones.
Talking about the charging department, it’s upgraded, at least on paper. The charging speed has increased from 27W to 30W now. Its battery capacity has improved from 4,700 mAh to 4,870 mAh.
AI Features
Now, let’s talk about the AI features that I believe work amazingly well in the new Pixel phones:
| Feature | Description |
| Tensor G5 + Gemini Nano | The new chip powers faster, private on-device AI and unlocks creative tools for text, images, and video. |
| Magic Cue | Surfaces helpful info in the moment, like flight details during calls, plus a Daily Hub with reminders and updates. |
| Gemini Live | Uses the camera to give real-time overlays and guidance for tasks, translations, and interactions. |
| Camera Coach & Best Take | Offers live tips for better framing and combines multiple shots so everyone looks good. |
| Voice Translate & Take a Message | Translates calls in real time and turns missed calls into clear transcripts with suggested replies. |
| Troubleshooting Agent | Helps fix common phone issues on-device and connects to support only when needed. |
| Pixel Journal & Writing Tools | Suggests prompts for journaling and refines your text with built-in writing tools. |
| Music Creation via Recorder | Turns simple humming or singing into complete music tracks. |
Conclusion
In the end, the Google Pixel 10 Pro is quite a reliable device when it comes to performance, camera, and AI. However, the upgrades are as much as I expected from the 10th generation of this phone. AI enhancements are amazing and make this phone capable of helping in a lot of routine and even creative matters. The Google Pixel 10 Pro price in Pakistan is the same as the introductory price of Pixel 9 Pro. So now, the decision is yours to make.
