The design of Galaxy S26 Ultra is slightly changed compared to its predecessor with the main highlight being a bumped camera module compared to individual cameras in the previous model. It’s more roundish on the corners. So, its design is a subjective call for many as some people like boxy designs while others love rounded bodies.
Now, let’s discuss the talk of the town, the display of Galaxy S26 Ultra is pretty amazing. Especially the privacy display, which is a builtin privacy screen that can protect your device’s display from others’ eyes in public spaces. It dynamically moves pixels when activated to keep the display visible when you look at it straight on but appears dim from the sides. Other than that, the display is nearly the same.
We cannot expect anything less than top class from Samsung’s latest flagship phone in terms of performance. Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (3 nm) is a beast powering the core of this mobile. If you like to know the benchmarks, AnTuTu V10 shows over 4 million score which is enough to make any hardcore gamer crazy. A new vapor cooling chamber is there to improve temperature control and provide consistent performance during intense spells of gaming.

The camera department is where Samsung could have done better. The Galaxy S26 Ultra comes with nearly the same rear and front cameras as the S25 Ultra had. There are some minor changes but for many, those are negligible. However, it is very important to mention that its cameras are already amazing with the main camera being 200MP followed by 3 really useful cameras like 10MP telephoto, 50MP periscopic, and 50MP ultrawide camera. Also, it can record up to 8K videos from the rear side and 4K videos from the front side.
Charging wise, it has improved with 60W fast charging now available, but the battery size is still 5,000 mAh which is not up to the mark as many brands are providing 6,000 mAh or 6,500 mAh batteries even in slim mobiles.
Conclusion
In the end, if you love hardcore gaming, roundish corners, slightly bumped camera module, and most importantly, privacy display, the Galaxy S26 Ultra can be a great choice for you. However, if you don’t need any of these, the upgrade might not be worth it if you already have an S25 Ultra. Now, the choice is yours!
