How Do Spare Tires Differ From Regular Tires
See every time you replace a tire on your car; you need to know that it needs to be fixed and put back in its place. You can’t just keep on driving on the spare tire – it belongs in the trunk, not on the road. Here’s why:
Firstly, the spare tire has different dimensions of size, usually with a smaller diameter than your normal tires.
Secondly, the spare tire’s rim is made of lightweight material and is nowhere near as strong and sturdy as your normal wheels.
Lastly, they have almost no tread, making it vulnerable to several road hazards.
Keep in mind that your spare tire only exists to get your car to the workshop where you can get your regular tire fixed. It’s not meant for everyday use.
