Driving Tips for Beginners
Even when I was a little boy, I was really into driving a car! I couldn’t wait to be tall enough for my feet to reach the pedals, so that I could finally drive! Even though now I drive in dense traffic, in horrible conditions, I still enjoy the relaxing activity driving is. But when you’re new to driving, it’s easy to get excited about smashing down on the pedal and going all Formula 1 on your first day! But there’s a lot more to driving than just that – when you’re on the wheel, you are responsible for your safety and for others! So here are a few driving tips you should keep in mind if you’re a beginner:
1. Always inspect your car before driving – check the tires for air pressure, adjust your seat, and the rear-view mirrors according to your vision
2. Remember the rules – know what the lines on the road and the lights and signs on the sides mean
3. Pay attention to how others around you are driving, some drivers will do something reckless or careless without warning!
4. Pay attention to the road and weather – if the road looks bumpy, slow down; if it’s raining/snowing too hard, pull over!
